Aluminum Solid Rivets Round Head DIN 660
Product Description
Solid rivets are permanent fasteners designed for holes that are either drilled or punched. Installing solid rivets generally requires a special tool that deforms one end for assembly, making the fastener unable to be reused or easily removed. A solid rivet may include a variety of head styles, including countersunk and round. They are available in several different materials. Solid aluminum rivets, sometimes misspelled as aluminium rivets, provide a high strength-to-weight ratio. Solid steel and stainless steel rivets provide strength while stainless also provides corrosion resistance. Solid copper and brass rivets are best suited for applications requiring a nonmagnetic, electrically conductive material. Unlike blind rivets, solid riveting requires access to both sides of the fastened material. Material thickness is a major factor when considering which solid rivet is required for the application.
